Tiger’s Eye Tumbled Stone

Golden-brown quartz with a silky, shifting band of light that moves as the stone turns, crossed in places by dark ironstone veins. Tiger's eye forms where quartz grows through fine fibres of crocidolite.

Priced per piece. Every stone is natural and hand-picked, so colour, pattern and size vary slightly from the photographs.

Care and cleaning

• Wash in warm water with a little mild soap and dry with a soft cloth. Quartz is hard, but a sharp knock can still chip an edge.
• Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners and harsh chemicals: microcrystalline quartz is slightly porous, and any dye or polish residue can be affected.
